The golden rules to selling

There are four key things which you need to sell successfully online. That is a product, a place, traffic and more traffic. A product and place is easy to come by.

I use wholesalers to find products which I sell on ebay. Most people say that when you buy a product, you should get the most expensive items, so that you can put a larger markup on them. When I'm selling on ebay, I find that most expensive products are also the larger ones, and it is difficult to ship them. Thus I always look for smaller products which can easily be shipped in a jiffy bag. I source a lot of my wholesale products from www.wholesalepages.co.uk which I brought a lifetime membership for.

I sell most things on ebay, as this attracts hundreds of customers to my listings, which is a very successful form of generating traffic. It's pretty much all done for you. All I have to do then is to ensure that my products are sought after. If no-one is interested in my product, then it won't sell.

I am currently looking into a third party form of generating traffic such as websites like www.unique-traffic.com to generate a lot more tarffic for my lisitngs, but I have no idea if I can trust that their traffic is good. I went with justvisits.co.uk to generate traffic for one of my websites and found that it was a con! £20 wasted! Does anyone know any traffic sites which genuinely work?
