I have just stumbled upon a stupidly easy way to make some extra money at christmas. I'm not sure if it will work all year round, but I'm sure it works at the moment.
I was browsing on iwoot the other day (I want one of those.com) which for those who don't know it is one of those gadgety websites. Thousands of people must browse them at this time of year to find gifts for people. They are ideal for that.
Well, I was doing some christmas shopping of my own the other day, and something which I wanted was out of stock. My instant reaction was - I'll just buy it from Ebay, there's bound to be someone selling this. And, of course there was. However there was only one item up for sale with so many bids that this item was attracting double what it retailed at on iwoot.
Obviously other people had seen that it was out of stock and gone straight to ebay.
Well, I decided that was far too much to pay, so I ran a google search for the item and brought a few for less than iwoot were charging originally. One was for a present, the rest were to resell. I brought as many as I thought I could shift before christmas. So far so good, I'm in profit, but there's still time to go on my listings! But what an easy way to make extra money at Christmas?
